Since its appearance in 1936, Prokofiev's immortal symphonic fairytale Peter and the Wolf has enthralled audiences of all ages. Indisputably the most popular of classical works written for children, this delightful piece recounts how young Peter sets off into the woods against his grandfather's advice, encounters a run in with a wolf, and eventually emerges victorious – with a little help from his friends. Hear how each character in the story is depicted by a different musical instrument. Make this an unforgettable family musical outing!
